Bio
James M. “Jimmy” Wohl graduated from the University of Florida in 1973 and moved to Sebring with his new wife Jeri in pursuit of his life-long dream to manage the family’s 5,200-acre cattle ranch. With a passion for excellence, Jimmy’s management skills were soon apparent. The ranch is nationally known for its quality cattle and natural beauty. Recognition for environmental stewardship and leadership has resonated in numerous state and national awards and speaking engagements. The most recent award is the first “Sustainable Rancher Award” presented by Audubon Florida in 2013. Always ready for a new challenge, Jimmy accepted an opportunity in 1981 to develop, manage and market Golf Hammock Country Club and Community, a 600-acre, 18-hole golf community in Sebring with nearly 800 living units. This added a new dimension to an agricultural business background and introduced him to the real estate industry. He quickly realized the real estate business is all about land use. The value of any real estate, whether agricultural, residential, commercial or industrial, is directly proportional to the anticipated return on investment. In today’s world of ever changing regulations regarding land use, real estate transactions and financing, it is prudent to use an ethical, experienced and committed real estate professional.
