Bio
As Regional Director, Jim Schlundt is responsible for managing First Industrial’s portfolio, operations and business relationships in Minneapolis, Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati. He is a 26-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Schlundt held several positions at First Industrial, including Operations Manager, where he gained extensive knowledge of the market and the portfolio, in addition to building strong relationships with tenants and the brokerage community. Earlier, he served as First Industrial’s Leasing Director for the Minneapolis region.
Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Schlundt worked for Duke Realty Corporation as Leasing Director for the Minneapolis market.
Mr. Schlundt earned his Bachelors of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of NAIOP and MNCAR and holds CCIM and RPA designations.
