Bio
Jim Reed recently joined SVR Commercial, LLC as Director, Multifamily Investment Sales. With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Mr. Reed served as Senior Director for Franklin Street’s multifamily investment sales division, covering markets across North Florida and Jacksonville. Prior to Franklin Street, Mr. Reed worked with Marcus & Millichap in Jacksonville, specializing in multifamily investment brokerage. Previously, he was a Director of Real Estate at the Florida Rock Division of Vulcan Materials - formerly Florida Rock Industries - for nine years where he negotiated land acquisitions, commercial and industrial leases, marketed and sold surplus real estate, led environmental remediation projects, managed a lease portfolio and business relationships, and reduced property tax liabilities. Mr. Reed previously served as a consultant to major wireless telecommunication companies, managing tower and antenna siting projects in Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Florida MSA’s.
A former practicing attorney, Mr. Reed holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Florida.
