James heads up the Agency Department at our Welwyn Garden City office.
James qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984 having obtained a BSc in Urban Estate Surveying from Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the property departments of Ladbrokes and Dewhurst and was with GVA in the West End for 5 years. In 1992, James took time out from ''civvy street'' and completed a circumnavigation by yacht with his brother. He joined Freeth Melhuish in 1996 and became an Equity Partner in 2004.
Outside of work James is a keen participant of squash, Eton Fives, golf and also enjoys bridge.
