James has been a commercial Realtor with Bennett Williams Realty for over 22 years. He practices general brokerage. Jim is focused on the sale and leasing of commercial, warehouse, office and manufacturing properties. James offers over 30 years of industrial/commercial sales experience, tenacity, patience, and innovative financing skills to buyers and sellers of commercial real estate. His clients include companies such as Goodwill Industries of Central Pennsylvania, The BonTon, Kinney Shoe Corporation, Triple Crown Corporation, Harvard Square at Hampden, and a multitude of investors and small businesses.
Since joining Bennett Williams, Mr. Hoch has completed significant transactions with The Bon Ton distribution center, multiple factories for The Foot Locker, Triple Crown Development Company, Goodwill Keystone Area, in addition to a multitude of investors and small businesses.
Prior to joining Bennett Williams, James, was for 15 years, affiliated with Centimark Corporation, an international industrial/commercial construction and roofing company based in Pittsburgh, PA. He served as Vice President of the Eastern Region where he supervised offices in Boston, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Baltimore, Richmond, San Francisco and Los Angeles. As President of Centimark Canada, James established the firm's first international office. James earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Economics at Susquehanna University in 1971, and his Associates Degree in Business Administration at Harrisburg Area Community College in 1968.
Mr. Hoch is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Pennsylvania Association of realtors (PAR), and a member of The Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors. He is a licensed Realtor in Pennsylvania. His community interests have included service on several committees of the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce in Harrisburg; Chairman and founding board member of Brethren Community Ministries (BCM); President of Serenity Lodge, Inc. Currently he is serving as a local and state level Judge for Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), a board member of Enviro-Products, and, since 1990, a volunteer driver for Indian Wheels, a senior transportation service in Susquehanna Township. In his free time, James enjoys American History and genealogy research. He is a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and enjoys speaking about local history to school groups and associations. Cycling, gardening, travel, history, genealogy, and a passion for movies round out his interests.
