James is a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He spent his early elementary school years at Northeastern Elementary school where he has many fond memories of friends and teachers as well. The summer between my 4th and 5th-grade years his parents moved to Greens Fork where James finished out his school days at Nettlecreek School Corp in Hagerstown. He spent his free time playing sports and exploring nature, and pushing the envelope, as most young boys do. Throughout most of his time in Greens Fork his father, Jim, worked at Lingle Real Estate. Jim was a realtor for several years, and then transitioned into his final role as business manager, overseeing many of the day-to-day operations of Lingle Real Estate. In a way, James grew up with real estate in his blood! After graduating high school, James went to Ball State University in Muncie, IN with a major in business administration. Not really knowing what he wanted to do when he grew up, he felt that a knowledge of how to operate a business would serve him well in any career. Several times throughout James’ college career he would call upon Mr. Paul Lingle, owner of Lingle Real Estate, for expert knowledge, and as a source for various projects that he had. Little did James know that just a few years later after a few retail sales jobs, that he would be a full-time realtor! From 2001 through 2006 James was a full-time realtor at LRE, still young, and green behind the ears. James chose to explore other interests in the technology and communications field, working at a cellular retailer for the next several years as a sales consultant, manager, and traveling the country to restructure and retrain struggling stores, and assist in opening new ones. While James was in the wireless & telecommunications market, he kept up with real estate knowledge, training, licensing, and continuing education requirements, and occasionally, assisting close friends and family with their real estate needs. In 2016 his calling as a realtor bit him again! James has a strong desire to help others. He has learned from the mistakes he has made which lets him help get his clients what they want. Often it doesn't happen overnight, but together, James and his clients can make a plan to make all of their dreams come true! Real estate is one of the best investments that people will ever make, but they can't do it blindly. James is very tech friendly, if clients don't have time to meet in his office, he is fine skyping or talking over the Facetime! Please feel free to contact James on any platform with any questions.
