James over the past 25 years has been involved in various businesses ranging from Cosmetic manufacturing to restaurant franchising and startups. Prior to joining MORE Commercial Properties, James was involved in building a local franchise Japanese Sushi Restaurant in Portland, Mio Sushi, and has successfully grown the company to 16 locations in Oregon and Washington and helped qualify for future expansion to California, Hawaii, Texas, Nevada, Idaho and New York.

He is a father to two wonderful children, oldest attending Portland State University and the youngest at Oregon Episcopal School. He loves playing the guitar, playing golf and being actively involved at his church
