James Collins joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2015, serving as a Vice President in the Washington DC office. During his time at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Collins has quickly excelled to his current role as Executive Director. James specialized in office buildings in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Collins served as a Senior Associate at Cassidy Turley, where he specialized in Landlord Representation of assets for Beacon Capital Partners, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT), TIAA-CREF, Behringer Harvard, and Prudential Insurance Company of America office portfolios in Washington D.C. Mr. Collins also provided Tenant Representation generating new leases for clients, providing risk management, budget advice and recommendations for deal economics. Mr. Collins received his undergraduate degree in Business Studies at the University of Maryland. He later went on to receive his Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
