Bio
James joined South Coast Commercial, LLC in 2013. He serves as Director of Acquisitions, responsible for directing all phases of the firm’s acquisition and investment processes. Prior to joining South Coast, James pursued historic redevelopment in Savannah, Georgia. Other key roles include development manager for Goldman Properties in New York, acquisitions and development manager for World-Wide Holdings, a Lubert Adler operating partner, and five years of architectural practice in New York City. James has developed educational, mixed-use, single family residential, and retail projects valued at more than $500 million, and acquired over $500 million in assets while at South Coast. He is a licensed architect in South Carolina, and an active member of the Urban Land Institute as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers. He holds an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an M. Arch. from Virginia Tech, and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.
