Mr. Cleary joined CONAM in 2022 and serves as Acquisitions Director. In this capacity, he is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, and completing investment transactions.
Prior to CONAM, Mr. Cleary worked for Brookfield Asset Management on the Investments Team where he was responsible for all stages of the deal process including sourcing, underwriting, and closing of transactions on behalf of several real estate strategies and capital vehicles. While at Brookfield, he completed acquisition and disposition activity with a total capitalization of over $1.6 billion. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Cleary started his career at HFF, where he was responsible for debt and equity placement for the financing of development, acquisitions, and refinancings.
Mr. Cleary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Middlebury College.
