sac Brown joined Newmark in September 2017 as an Associate Director in the firm’s Raleigh office. A Raleigh native, Brown advises tenants on their real estate strategies using advanced market research and financial modeling to understand the impact his clients have on a building’s ownership and valuation.
Most recently, Brown spent over three years in Houston, Texas, with Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners, Houston’s preeminent boutique tenant advisory firm. Here, Brown completed numerous lease transactions for local, national and international companies, located in Houston and across the country. Brown’s experience representing both landlords and tenants provides him unique insight on how to formulate and negotiate lease strategies that provide his clients with flexibility and profitability while aligning their real estate and business goals.
Brown began his real estate career in 2012 with Cassidy Turley (now Cushman & Wakefield), where he advised commercial real estate owners on market conditions and leasing strategies. He also performed corporate service portfolio analysis for one of the nation’s leading banks.
Throughout the years, Brown has been active in coaching youth lacrosse in Raleigh and Houston. A Woodberry Forest School graduate, he currently serves on the school’s Raleigh alumni board and has previously been active on admissions committees in both Raleigh and Houston.
