Bio
Ian Feinerman is a lifelong Chicagoan and a resident of the exciting Wicker Park neighborhood, where he has lived for over thirteen years. During this time, Ian has been an instrumental part of the many drastic changes that have seen this area go from a rough and tumble pocket of the city to the vibrant area that it is today. Watching this neighborhood grow and change drastically over the years has given Ian his keen and intuitive insight to the rapidly changing landscape of Chicago. It is precisely this awareness of "hot" neighborhoods, the best places to buy and sell, and the politics of change that set Ian apart in his field. Ian’s credentials speak for themselves. In addition to his respected work with @properties, Ian has also been an integral member of the Hood Development team for over ten years, where he has actively developed new construction and rehabs for both residential and commercial properties. Working in every aspect of his field, from Rental Agent and Property Manager, to Project Coordinator and Designer, has given Ian insight to the inner workings of the Real Estate deal from the ground up. It is this ability to see and wholly understand Chicago Real Estate on a large scale that has, in the past, given Ian his edge. With @properties, however, Ian will be focusing his energy solely on Real Estate sales, and by narrowing that focus is determined to offer each customer unparalleled satisfaction. Yet Ian’s interests go far beyond his work in Real Estate. He is an active biker, scuba diver and local music aficionado. He received a Liberal Arts and Science degree, with a concentration in music and management, from Chicago’s Columbia College. Ian loves his city’s multitude of great restaurants, and is always in the know about the latest openings in the culinary scene. But while you might run into Ian at the hot new bistro in your neighborhood, you are just as likely to see him at a rock-n-roll show at the Metro, Double Door, or Empty Bottle. It is music that is perhaps his greatest passion, and Ian always has an ear to the ground when it comes to new bands, upcoming shows and great records. It is precisely these varied interests and talents that make Ian not only a great real estate professional, but a wonderful member of the Chicago community that he loves.
