Bio
Hunter serves as Vice President in NorthMarq’s Richmond Office. He is responsible for providing clients with creative financing solutions through NorthMarq’s direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life company correspondents, commercial banks and CMBS lenders. During his tenure with NorthMarq, he has played a key role in the origination, underwriting, and closing of more than $750 million in transactions for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and self-storage properties.
Prior to joining NorthMarq, Hunter was in a Finance Rotational Program at WestRock, a Fortune 500 packaging company located in Richmond, VA.
Hunter graduated with a Master of Science in Real Estate from Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Hunter is a licensed salesperson in Virginia and an active member of numerous real estate organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE). He also also volunteers his time with the First Tee of Richmond.
