Herb is a senior level corporate real estate executive with 20+ years of diverse real estate experience relating to strategic planning; office and industrial leasing; subleasing; and acquisition and disposition of corporate real estate assets. He has constructed, acquired, disposed of, leased and subleased all types of commercial and industrial properties and has managed an international corporate real estate portfolio located in various large and small markets. From 1999 through 2008, Herb was a member of a small internal team responsible for acquiring, developing, constructing and leasing the iconic New York Times Company World Headquarters at 620 Eighth Avenue in New York City. In 2007 he was credited with disposing of 1.6 million square feet of industrial space in Edison, NJ, composed of three large contiguous parcels of land containing several buildings and leased-back the majority. In addition, in 2004 he was instrumental in negotiating the sale and lease-back of the former New York Times Company Headquarters (700,000 SF) at 229 West 43rd Street, New York, NY in anticipation of the completion of the new headquarters. Herb’s expertise extends to negotiating incentive packaging from the public sector in various markets, including the New York Metropolitan Area.
