A law school graduate of Brigham Young University, Hayden DuBay, founder of the Injury Law Center, has received many prestigious awards in his academic career. Hayden DuBay was in the top 10% of his class and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Kappa Phi. He has been recognized for advocacy by The International Academy of Trial Lawyers as well as receiving the nationally recognized Order of the Barristers. Hayden is a long time member of the Virginia State Bar, and a member of both the Virginia and American Trial Lawyers Associations. He has been practicing personal injury law in Virginia since 1982 and has recovered millions of dollars for injured clients. Hayden is active in numerous civic, church and legal organizations. He and his wife, Sherri, have three children.
One of the driving forces that led Hayden DuBay to law school was his years working as a commercial fisherman. While working aboard a large fishing trawler as acting captain, Hayden saw friends seriously injured in explosions, broken cable lines essentially amputating arms and legs, and his own glove caught in a cable wench creating a very close call. He knew then that he wanted to go to law school to make sure he could help and protect people who have been injured.
