As a Realtor, Gil brings 39.5 years of real estate business experience to RE/MAX and his clients. He specializes in marketing and sales of Fine and Luxury Homes, in smart growth initiatives, new construction, and planning and zoning issues. In his real estate career, Gil has worked with agriculture land preservation transactions, workforce and affordable housing issues, traditional neighborhood developments, Farmland and Forest Land Assessment Act transactions, and as a proponent for the adaptive re-use of historically significant and functionally obsolete structures. Gil is currently a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the NAR GREEN Designation, the Certified Military Residential Specialist designation (CMRS), and is a member of the NAR Green Resource Council. Gil is also past President of the Rotary Club of Lancaster. Gil previously served with the Lancaster County Smart Growth Coalition, Housing Coalition, and Livable Community Task Force. Additional professional activities have included the creating and planning of Legacy Traditional Neighborhood communities on both Greenfield and Brownfield in-fill sites. Gil is a co-founder of the non-profit known as The Sky Institute. The mission of the Sky Institute is to implement pragmatic and sustainable strategies in design, energy, town planning, and agricultural production, and to create and incubate transformational ideas that will nourish healthy communities and educate current and future generations.
