George grew up on a family farm in the Algona, Iowa area and is still a partner in operating that business today. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Communications and later went on to earn a Master’s in Public Administration from Iowa State University.
George has lived in Iowa the majority of his life with over 20 years living in the Ames area.
In addition to his background in agriculture, he has over 25 years of experience working in various positions with local, state and federal governments. This experience ranges from law enforcement, to government contracting, to most recently, city administration. His experience in planning and zoning, along with a strong knowledge in economic development, gives him the unique background to assist business owners and investors in minimizing their risk and maximizing the growth potential of investing in commercial real estate.

George played sports in high school and college and participates in the community theater. He enjoys coaching high school football and wrestling.
