Considered one of the top producers on Bainbridge Island, Georg has been selling real estate for over 35 years as both a managing broker and as former owner of Deschamps Realty, a position he held for 20 years until 2007 when the company was acquired by Coldwell Banker McKenzie.
Georg and his business partner Arthur Mortell joined Coldwell Banker where they ranked as one of “Seattle’s Best” in Seattle Magazine and held top spots in Bainbridge Island’s vote for favorite realtors. Georg was also a prominent member of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate for over 20 years.
Dedicated to consistently staying up to date in both technological and legal aspects of the business, Georg has a vast knowledge of real estate law issues, 1031 exchanges and current marketing trends. While his primary focus is residential real estate he has also successfully sold numerous large-scale commercial properties on the Bainbridge Island.
In December of 2016 Georg and Arthur accepted a position with Realogics Sotheby’s Realty, based on the numerous marketing tools and marketing advances Sotheby offered their Buyers and Sellers.
Known for his integrity as well as his experience, and professionalism Georg maintains long and loyal relationships with his clients and holds the respect of his fellow realtors.
As a well-respected leader in the community, Georg has served as past President of the Kitsap County Association of Realtors, Land Use Committee, State of Washington Equal Opportunity Committee, and former member of the Bainbridge Island Rotary Club and continues to volunteer in local organizations.
Georg is a member of both the Washington and National Association of Realtors. He specializes in Waterfront and Luxury Homes, and in High End and Lake/Beach Properties.
