Bio
As a lifelong resident of the Kennett Square area, Geoff has seen many changes to the growing landscape. After graduating from Kennett High School, he earned a Finance Degree from Virginia Tech. Following graduation, he spent 7 years working in the Accounting Department of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. While working for Wyeth in Malvern, Geoff earned his MBA in New Venture Studies and Entrepreneurship from Penn State. He also spent nights and weekends working for LGB Properties providing financial record keeping and assisting in the decision making process of the organization. In March of 2008, Geoffrey resigned from Wyeth and made the full-time transition to working for LGB Properties as the CFO.
A Borough of Kennett Square resident, Geoffrey served as a Borough Councilman for 8 years, where he was Vice President and served as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Borough. Geoff served as a planning commission member for the Borough before being elected to Council. He has also served as a board member for the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors for the Kennett Education Foundation and has coached youth baseball at various levels, including at Kennett High School for 7 years. He currently sits on the Borough's Civil Service Commission along with Historic Kennett Square and KAU Little League. Geoff and his wife Molly, along with their sons Brett and Garrett, live in the Borough of Kennett Square and enjoy all that the town has to offer. In his spare time, Geoffrey enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on home improvement projects, cooking, traveling, watching sports, and coaching his boys' baseball teams.
