The agency was started 5/1/1977 by Gary Sorenson with American Family Insurance. Over the years the agency received numerous awards, and grew to be ranked in the top 100 agencies in volume. I felt to BEST serve our customers insurance needs, we needed to represent more than ONE company. 9/1/1998 I became an Independent agent and started Insurance Brokers of MN. Inc. We now represent over 30 reputable insurance companies, and we place your policy with the company offering the best coverage at a competitive price. My wife and I are active members of Elim Baptist Church, and involved in the community. We have 4 children, and enjoy water sports, bicycle riding, outdoor activities, and fishing.
