Gary Riele's property management career began in 1979 when he was responsible for managing 45 buildings in the San Francisco East Bay Area. He earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1986. With over 30 years experience in real estate services, Mr. Riele has a diverse background in retail leasing and marketing of shopping centers and mixed-use developments. He is particularly adept at identifying strong tenants and positioning the right tenant mix. His in-depth knowledge of the Tri-Valley real estate market has been acquired over the past years as he has held various positions in leasing and marketing in the Valley. Since 1992, Mr. Riele has been an independent broker specializing in retail, office leasing and commercial brokerage in the San Ramon Valley. His experience and professionalism throughout his career have rewarded him with many loyal, long-term relationships with several major property owners and development firms, as well as tenants. Mr. Riele was Vice-President of Leasing for Blackhawk Corporation from 1989 to 1992 where he was directly responsible for leasing and marketing Blackhawk Plaza, a 208,000 sq. ft. upscale destination oriented shopping center. Prior to that, he was with Pacific Rim Development Company of Walnut Creek where he was in charge of leasing new development projects including The Marketplace Shopping Center in San Ramon. Mr. Riele has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers since 1986 and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management since 1982. He is a member of the Danville/Sycamore Valley Rotary Club and the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as the Chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He is an active Board Member of the Discovery Counseling Center. He has been a resident of Danville since 1982.
