Gary Louttit, MRICS, APAEWE is a GP Surveyor within the Commercial Department, based in the Glasgow office.
Gary qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and previously worked with two other private practice firms, building up a licensed trade and leisure client portfolio in both, before joining Shepherd in 2016.
Gary forms part of the commercial team within the Edinburgh office but covers the whole of Scotland in his specialism within the licensed trade and leisure sector of the property market.
His work includes Red Book valuations, acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews, rating appeals and general consultancy for all forms of leisure type properties. He also provides advice to clients on expert witness matters, holding the RICS recognised qualification of Advanced Professional Award for Expert Witness Evidence.
Gary enjoys walking, reading and playing five a side football and is a committed Rotarian. He is also the current President of the Royalty Burns Club; a long established Burns Club closely associated with the licensed trade in Scotland.
