Gail Goldstein is widely recognized in business and commercial real estate circles as an industry leader in Agency Leasing in Los Angeles. Gail attributes the success throughout her career to three core business practices: Building long-term, trust-based relationships with all clients, providing a level of service that brings value to the transaction and renders results that surpass expectations and being of service to those in the community and to others in need. Gail Goldstein has over twenty-five years of experience leasing office buildings and retail projects for institutional owners. Prior to joining Avison Young, Gail was a Regional Director-Leasing with Equity Office for over twelve years where she was responsible for the leasing of a 2.5 million square foot portfolio of 33 office/retail buildings in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles where she served the needs of such diverse tenants as Activision, Guthy/Renker, Art Institute of Los Angeles, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Wilshire Associates, RIOT Games and Game Show Network. Gail supervised brokerage teams and provided hands-on contributions in the completion of 58 lease transactions in 2013 totaling in excess of 274,000 square feet creating a revenue stream of $61 million. She formulated and implemented strategic plans and budgets for each property that were responsive to the needs of the ownership and sought to maximize value through effective leasing parameters while keeping in step with market trends. Gail directed and executed the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing of space available, spec suite design and creation, transaction evaluation, credit review, space planning, negotiation of lease terms and documents and the coordination of tenant improvements leading to the occupancy of space and payment of rent. At the time of departure, her portfolio was stabilized at 94% overall occupancy. Prior to her tenure at Equity Office, Gail served as a Project Director for Spieker Properties for five years. This hands-on entrepreneurial position required full-spectrum real estate expertise inclusive of asset management, leasing, property management, construction management, human resources and accounting skills. During this tenure, she directed all aspects of property ownership for the Santa Monica Business Park consisting of twenty-buildings totaling 1.1 million square feet and supervised the two-year $7 million repositioning of the asset. While at Spieker, Gail also supervised the ground-up development and lease-up of the Arboretum Courtyard, a two-building office complex totaling 150, 000 square feet in Santa Monica Gail spent nine years with Heitman Properties prior to her tenure at Spieker Properties where she served as a Senior Property and Leasing Manager. During her tenure, she provided both property management and leasing services to six buildings totaling 1.2 million square feet, as well as the Property Management services for two regional shopping centers totaling 350,000 square feet.
