Bio
After a successful career in banking, in 2004,
Gabriel J. Perez decided to begin a career in the
real estate industry. He soon found he had
a knack for supporting Hispanics in achieving
their dream of homeownership. He now has a
thriving business serving Utah and Salt Lake
counties and is the #1 Hispanic Realtor® in
Utah County.
Gabriel focuses on serving the Hispanic
community and is bilingual in English
and Spanish. His background in the banking industry
has given him financial expertise he uses to advise his
clients on the best mortgage for their situation and how to
improve their credit. He’s been a coach for the “Rich Dad,
Poor Dad” worldwide program, and he loves to use his
skills as a teacher educating his clients about every aspect
of the process. “I enjoy teaching Hispanics around the
world how they can invest in real estate,” he says. “I see
the potential that they have and I help them to achieve it.”
His motto is: “Haciéndolo Fácil” or “Easy Does It.” He
pairs a relaxed attitude with a drive to make his clients’s
dreams come true. As a result of the excellent, caring
service he provides, an impressive 86% of his business
comes from repeat and referral clients. To stay in touch
with past clients, Gabriel stops by to give holiday gifts,
sends postcards and mailers, or picks up the phone
to reach out and ask how they are doing.
When it comes to market listings, Gabriel’s creativity
and professionalism shine. First, he meets with the
homeowner to discuss any minor need
for repairs or decluttering that would allow the
listing to sell for the best possible price. He
understands that in today’s market, most homeowners
begin their search for a home online,
so he hires professional photographers to take
3D and regular photos. He posts the listing on
the MLS and all the major real estate websites,
and he conducts a thorough campaign via
social media which reaches his wide sphere
of influence and beyond. The result is often a
quick sale at a competitive price. Gabriel closes over 25
transactions a year with an average price of $350K.
“My favorite part of my job is empowering my clients,”
Gabriel says. “I do everything possible to make the dream
of home ownership come true for them. Many of them
are from the Hispanic community, and some have financial
challenges and don’t believe they will ever be able
to buy a house. It’s incredibly rewarding to show them
they can do it!” Gabriel was the founder and Chairman
of the Utah County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for
three years. He is co-founder of the Salt Lake Chapter
of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate
Professionals. He served also as the Vice President of
the Hispanic Business Association and a member of the
Council of the Mexican Consulate. In his free time, he
enjoys spending time with his wife and eight children.
In the future, he plans to obtain his broker’s license.
With his commitment to excellence and serving the
community, he is sure to make that dream a reality!
