Fredric Karlton is President of Karlton Investment Group Inc., a Miami Beach based real estate investment and development company. He directs the daily operations of the 15-employee company and oversees all departments including finance, acquisitions, sales and marketing and project management. More specifically, Fred Karlton is actively involved in the transactional side of the business, managing and finalizing contractual negotiations.
For the past twenty years, Fred Karlton has been a private investor. During this time, he served as the President of Karlton Investment Group, Inc., his own real estate company that pursues retail and office investments, as well as Karlton CC Investors, LLC, a company that pursues the purchase of rental apartment buildings for the purpose of condominium conversions. Karlton Investment and Karlton Investors are credited with over $1 billion in acquisitions and development over the past 20 years. Among the Karlton’s most notable residential, retail and commercial projects throughout the United States.
Prior to founding his own investment company in 1989, Fred Karlton was a vice president with J.S. Karlton Investment Company, Inc., a family owned business. After graduating college, he made his foray into the real estate industry as a sales associate. Mr. Fred Karlton holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Business and Finance from University of Florida.
