After a full career in commercial real estate marketing and consulting, the most recent of which was Partner in Ojala & Company, I am entering a new phase of my career. In order to move into this new phase, my long-time business partner, Bob Smith, and I are changing the name of our company to BakerSmith Commercial Real Estate Services. We will continue to represent past and current clients of the Ojala & Company portfolio of buildings constructed since the mid 70's. Additionally, we will be providing specialized services to the general real estate public.
At the same time, as in the past, I will be providing the office/industrial real estate development sector consulting services in land acquisition, land development and construction consulting. During my career, I have gained a specialized insight in the selection of quality developable land, which includes land entitlement and development, identifying the best product for the development site and economic modeling and development marketing. Having been involved in the acquisition of major business parks, entitlement and building development and disposition of over 70 buildings, this insight is based on real world experience.
