Mr. Gunsberg has also been involved in some of the most successful landlord representation assignments in the New York metropolitan area, most notably the Newport office developments in Jersey City and Continental Plaza in Hackensack, New Jersey. Recent assignments include Glenpointe Centre in Teaneck and the 100,000 square foot Mt Pleasant Medical Plaza in West Orange, NJ. In addition, Mr. Gunsberg has extensive knowledge of construction and redevelopment, having been involved in a number of development transactions. Most notably are the 100,000 square foot build-to-suit headquarters for Castrol Oil in Wayne, New Jersey, the 125,000 square foot Seiko/Pulsar headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey and the 150,000 square foot redevelopment of the Channel Property in Hanover, NJ, now the Cadbury Schweppes R&D Center. For his outstanding achievement in the pursuit of business performance excellence and total client satisfaction, Mr. Gunsberg was awarded the Cushman & Wakefield “Brokerage Service Excellence Award” for 1999. He was also GVA Williams New Jersey’s Top Producer in 2006.
Prior to his association with FSWRE, Mr. Gunsberg was Executive Director for Cushman and Wakefield. Mr. Gunsberg served as Executive Vice President, Co- Manager of Grubb & Ellis’ New Jersey office where he was a Senior Marketing Consultant and served on the prestigious corporate advisory committee, which reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. Prior to this, Mr. Gunsberg co-headed the Suburban Division for Wm. A. White & Sons. He has been a member of the NJ Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Regional Board Director for The American Heart Association. Mr. Gunsberg is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the States of New Jersey and New York.
In 1999, my partner and I won the Service Excellence Award for the NY Metropolitan areas. At Grubb & Ellis I was the Senior Marketing Consultant and on the Broker Advisory Board that reported to the CEO. A marriage of 42 years, 3 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren.
