Frank Barber is a Partner | Senior Vice President of N&M Brokerage Services, LLC. A 25 year real estate veteran, Frank has been essential in assisting national and super regional retailers in formulating and implementing market roll-out strategies. Frank has been nationally recognized by peers and clients alike for his expertise, professionalism, and production, having served on national and regional retail councils for brokerage companies and industry trade groups. Prior to N&M Brokerage Services, Frank worked for The Lerner Company, a Member of Chainlinks Advisory, where he was recognized as the company’s top producing broker in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and runner up in 2009 and 2010. Further highlighting some of Frank’s expertise and success is his recognition by CoStar Group as a Power Retail Broker of the Year, four years as the Iowa/Nebraska State Retail Co-Chair, nearly four year term on Grubb & Ellis National Executive Retail Council, and five year recipient of Grubb & Ellis Circle of Excellence Award Winner.
His duties at N&M Brokerage Services include assisting in the management of real estate services for retail operators, providing strategic market assessment and site acquisition work, relocation work, deal negotiations, and market roll-out strategies across much of the United States. In addition to his current responsibilities, Frank possesses noteworthy experience in asset underwriting, acquisition, value enhancement, asset management, and dispositions for retail, office, and multi-family, having previously worked for General Electric Capital Realty Group and JER, precursor to Archon Group.
A graduate from the University of Kansas, Frank obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science. Also a graduate of Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, Barber achieved a Master’s degree in Business Administration/Finance in 1993.
