Erik Reif is responsible for managing, tracking, and underwriting for Virtú’s dispositions and acquisitions efforts. Mr. Reif joined Virtu in early 2012 with experience working at both a multi-family and residential brokerage, along with a property management company. Before his work in real estate, Mr. Reif was anAnalyst at Glencore, Ltd.; the world’s largest privately owned commodities trading company, now Glencore Xstrata. At Glencore, Ltd., he analyzed and tracked over $2 billion of inventory and trades for one of the most successful gasoline traders on the West Coast. Transferring this experience to real estate, Mr. Reif began working as an Investment Associate at a San Diego based multi-family brokerage. While at the brokerage firm, Mr. Reif was responsible for underwriting, meeting with current and potential clients, and tracking market conditions and activity. Mr. Reif has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UCSD.
