Eric has over 20 years of financial services and real estate experience managing businesses, raising assets and being involved in all aspects of the real estate investment business. He is currently the owner and broker of Anchor Legacy Inc., operating as Anchor Real Estate & Anchor Realty Investments based out of Paso Robles, Ca.
Anchor Real Estate is a boutique real estate brokerage helping buyers and sellers in San Luis Obispo county since 2011. Our agents help current and potential homeowners in SLO County from San Miguel to Santa Maria. We partner with top local lenders, title companies and contractors in order to make home buying and selling a seamless and stress-free process. Our agents take pride in going the extra mile for our clients by taking control over the buying and selling process allowing you to focus on other things while we work hard for you.
Eric started Anchor Realty Investments in order to help real estate investors grow their real estate portfolio. Whether you are just getting started in real estate investing or a seasoned investor, we can help you. We concentrate on finding ugly houses, multi-unit buildings, commercial real estate and development opportunities. We help our clients work with city planning, budgeting, construction and property management. Eric has extensive experience with creative financing deals including LLC investing, self-directed IRA/401k investing, hard money loans, and owner financing including AITD (All Inclusive Trust Deed) financing.
Eric has been a key executive at firms such as Transamerica, MetLife and Cornerstone Real Estate Funds helping to manage sales in excess of $1 billion through financial services institutions. Eric started his career at Transamerica as a Variable Annuity Wholesaler. After two years he moved onto MetLife and was the Regional Vice President out of Denver, Colorado. Later he became the Private Equity Sales Director at Cornerstone Real Estate Funds with the main duties of raising private equity and securing selling agreements among broker/dealer firms.
During the past 18 years Eric has been a successful real estate investor buying and managing homes and apartment buildings. His specialty has been with 2-4 unit apartment buildings, but also single family homes, fix and flips, and a storage unit facility. His newest project is a newly renovated vacation rental on Spring Street in Paso Robles dubbed Anchor House and another construction project on Olive Street in Paso Robles that will be also be a vacation rental called Anchor House Too.
Eric is a proud local of Paso Robles and alumni of both Flamson Middle School and Paso Robles High School. He graduated from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California with BAs in Finance and Marketing in 1998. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker (California Department of Real Estate Lic. #01798129).
