Bio
Eric Lonergan is Executive Managing Director and Co-Market Leader in the Savills Seattle office. His practice is exclusively focused on commercial tenant representation, delivered with zealous advocacy, creative thinking, and superb analytical abilities. His core philosophy emphasizes ethics, objectivity and accountability.
Eric’s strengths include working with clients to develop thoughtful and vetted real estate business cases for consideration by corporate leadership teams. He excels at strategic planning, logic-based/non-confrontational negotiation, and financial analysis.
Eric and his team joined Savills in 2020 after two decades at Washington Partners, where he was a shareholder, held a senior leadership role and helped build its reputation as the strongest and most active independent tenant advisory firm in the Pacific Northwest. Eric and his team are continuing to evolve their practice established at Washington Partners, now offering clients more robust consulting capabilities and a global reach, while still avoiding the serious conflicts of interest that are rampant at firms that serve institutional landlords as well as tenants.
Recently, from 2017 to 2020 Eric completed more than 4 million square feet of commercial real estate transactions.
Eric was born and raised in San Francisco but calls Seattle home after living there for over 30 years. He is an enthusiastic and (sometimes) competitive cyclist who enjoys riding roads and trails. Over the years, he has harnessed this passion to raise money for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, MS Society, Fischer House, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by participating in a variety of athletic endurance events. He has served on the board of Pacific Crest School (a K-8 private school in Seattle), and has been a board advisor on real estate and capital planning for other area schools, including Bertschi School, Eton School and Woodinville Montessori School.
