Emily Langworthy is a member of the Investments team at Gables Residential, where she specializes in multifamily development across the Metro DC and Boston regions. Based out of the McLean office, Emily plays a pivotal role in evaluating new development opportunities, conducting financial analyses, and supporting strategic investment decisions that align with Gables Residential’s long-term growth objectives. Her expertise spans financial analysis, market research, underwriting, and project feasibility, enabling her to contribute meaningfully to the lifecycle of residential and mixed-use developments. Emily collaborates closely with cross-functional teams—including design, construction, and asset management—to ensure that each project is both financially sound and community-focused.
Prior to joining Gables, Ms. Langworthy served as a member of CBRE’s Mid-Atlantic Debt & Structured Finance Group, where she was involved with the origination, structuring, and underwriting of senior debt, mezzanine debt and equity for a wide variety of multifamily, office, retail, industrial and other property types and development projects. Ms. Langworthy graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History.
