Eli Hanacek has over 21 years of experience in the multifamily industry with a broad range of expertise in brokerage, acquisitions, dispositions, development, asset management, marketing, and construction. Since Eli joined CBRE’s PNW Multifamily team he has been involved in over $25 billion in transactions comprised of over 1,200 properties and over 110,000 existing units, including over 100+ transactions of land experience. Specializing in complex transactions, Eli has executed on multi-state portfolios, retail-anchored mixed-use properties, condominium conversions, unentitled land, and property types ranging from suburban and urban value-add to trophy urban core. Prior to joining CBRE, Eli served as the Investment Management COO for Holland Partner Group. He oversaw new investments with a cradle-to-grave approach on each asset and portfolio as well as supervised the operating, revenue management, and marketing teams to ensure best-in- class results. During his tenure with Holland Partner Group, Eli oversaw over $1.8 billion in transactions and operated a diverse portfolio with over 20,000 multifamily housing units in over 70 communities in five states; Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado and Arizona. Eli was also tasked with opening new markets for Holland including Denver and Phoenix along with raising equity from private and institutional investors. Eli has also worked for Simpson Housing where he filled many roles in development, management, marketing and revenue management in the Pacific Northwest and California.
