Bio
Elaine Hartin serves as a Senior Managing Director. Hartin’s 34 years of commercial real estate experience place her among Sacramento and Placer counties’ most well-respected commercial real estate brokers, whose hands-on experience with the most sophisticated of clients enables her to understand all elements of representation. Throughout her career, Hartin has leased or sold more than 7 million square feet of office and tech space, for a total transaction consideration in excess of $663 million. Hartin has ranked among the firm’s Sacramento office’s Top Ten Producers for 13 years. She has been the second-highest producing agent in the Sacramento office and the seventh-highest for Newmark (NorCal). Hartin is also an 11-time winner of Newmark (NorCal)’s coveted Worn Shoe award for completing the most deals in the year. Some of the most respected organizations in the commercial real estate industry have also honored Hartin. She was awarded the Sacramento Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business award for her career achievements. She has received Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Sacramento’s very prestigious F.A.M.E. award acknowledging her commitment to communities and family. Three years prior, Hartin had received the Association of Commercial Real Estate’s (ACRE’s) Broker’s Choice award, in recognition of her work ethic and highly ethical business practices. Hartin’s various professional relationships include Westlake, Grahl & Glover, a division of American Express Financial Services, where she served on their advisory board. In 1996 and 1997, Hartin has represented CREW Sacramento as a national delegate on the National Council of NNCREW (National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women). She had served as president of CREW Sacramento. An active member of her community, Hartin served as a Director on the Roseville Community Health Foundation Board and still volunteers her time to its causes. She also served on the fundraising committee for PAWS (Performing Animal Welfare Society) and is a Director’s Circle member of the Crocker Art Museum. Prior to joining Newmark in 1989, Hartin managed commercial investment properties for 13 years as an asset manager for a local development firm. This background provided her with the opportunity to gain rare insight into the long-term ramifications of lease negotiations for landlords and tenants alike.
