His past work experiences have been in the oil and gas business since 1997. He has served as Executive Vice President and President for Shell, Chevron, Jiffy Lube, and Texaco franchises. Prior to the oil and gas industry, he worked for two of the largest electrical equipment manufacturing companies in the world: General Electric Company and Schneider Electric. At General Electric, he was involved in sales management and marketing, in the electrical industry. While at General Electric in 1984, he interviewed and was vetted by the Department of Defense in Langley, Virginia. At Schneider Electric he worked in sales management and marketing management in the electrical power distribution industry.
In 2000, appointed as a Public Member of the California New Motor Vehicle Board by John Burton Democratic President of the California Senate.
