Eddie began his distinguished career in Texas in 1970 while attending Texas A&M University and has developed over $200 million of real estate projects including apartments, office, retail, industrial and master planned communities. He has brokered over $500 million in real estate assets, managed retail, office & industrial properties, and completed numerous workouts for national financial institutions. In addition he was the Sales & Marketing Director for numerous golf course communities overseeing the sales of over $250 million of property.
In 1999 Eddie founded E.W. Schultz Co., Inc., a real estate firm that performed brokerage, workout programs, marketing and appraisal functions, as well as consulting services for national and regional financial institutions, developers, and institutional buyers. Over that period of time the company grew to cover 28 counties in Florida focusing on lenders, venture capital firms, hedge funds and private equity groups as well as national and regional homebuilders including Pulte Homes, D.R. Horton, Centerline Homes, Mattamy Homes, Toll Brothers, Ashton Woods, Starwood Land Ventures and others.
Eddie and his wife Nancy are very active in the Collier County National Alliance on Mental Illness. Eddie is a member of the Naples Board of Realtors as well as the Florida and National Associations. He enjoys scuba diving, underwater photography, golf and tennis.
