Ed is a highly seasoned and successful professional with over 22 years of commercial real estate experience. He joined Colliers in Omaha in early 2001 as an Associate in the Advisory Services Group. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2002, to Vice President in 2005, to Senior Vice President in 2008 and to Executive Vice President in 2016. Ed’s primary focus includes property sales, office leasing and tenant representation. Ed has an outstanding track record of delivering top-notch results and specializes in larger, more complex transactions. In 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 he earned the firm’s “Broker of the Year” award and was named a Colliers International 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 Everest Award recipient, recognizing the top 10 percent of producers nationally each year. During his career Ed has personally completed transactions totaling over $1.4 billion.
In 1995 Ed joined First Union Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a vice president. During his first five years at First Union, Ed successfully built a 12 person consulting team which focused on First Union’s Capital Markets activities, as the underlying businesses grew more than tenfold.
Ed began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the International Bank Supervision area. During his eight-year tenure, Ed received six promotions and quickly worked his way to Examining Officer, where he led a team of 21 professionals. While at the New York Fed, Ed frequently interacted with senior and executive management of large banking institutions on a variety of supervisory and business topics. Ed also received two President’s Awards for Excellence from the New York Fed.?
