Bio
Doug is a graduate of the University of Regina having earned an undergraduate degree in Administration in 1987. Doug began his brokerage career in Regina at Koyl Commercial Real Estate (a Royal LePage Commercial affiliate office) where he demonstrated an affinity for and expertise in office leasing. During this time, it was his priviledge to collaborate with such respected firms as Truscan Realty, Bentall Properties, Royal Bank Realty, Great West Life Realty Advisors and the CIBC Development Corporation among others. In addition to representing the interests of selected owners of real property, Doug was also well known for his tenant representation service and ability.
Thereafter, Doug worked for the Province of Saskatchewan. For most of his approximately 14 year tenure at the Crown, Doug was accountable for ensuring that the Crown's commercial real estate portfolio in Regina was procured and managed in a cost effective manner. Doug worked directly with the brokerage community, property managers, asset managers and owners of real property. These included real estate investment trusts, asset managers and other like institutions. During this period, Doug was responsible for transactions having an aggregate value in excess of $500 million.
Now in the employ of Avison Young, Doug looks forward to sharing his expertise with both owners of real property and commercial tenants in the Regina and area commercial marketplace.
