Doug started his Real Estate career in 1986 with Kaufman Manikas Commercial Real Estate specializing in the sale of farm land and future development land eventually graduating into subdivision land sales working with clients such as Winncrest Homes, purchased by Lennar in the late 90’s. Doug was awarded Land Salesman of the year in 1989 and 1990. In June of 2000 Doug moved his family and career to Mesquite, NV and after obtaining his Nevada Brokers License partnered up with Rick Hawes and Rick Anderson and launched Premier Properties of Mesquite, Inc.
Over the last nine years Premier Properties has become the largest Real Estate office in Mesquite, boasting 35 agents. The company currently represents the largest builder in Southern Utah and Mesquite, Ence Homes and the prestigious custom home builder Advanced Construction, consisting of a half a dozen single family projects. Doug is well known as the dirt mover in town, with sales well over 3000 acres of Single Family and Commercial Land. Doug’s latest venture is the development of Calais Village Shopping Center (Co-Owner/ Broker) consisting of 140,000 SFT of rentable retail space with notable tenants such as; Walgreens, Bealls, Dollar Tree, Starbucks and more.
