Doug Leonard and his wife Susan of 31 years reside in Lexington, South Carolina. They have four grown children and four grandchildren. An accomplished musician, Doug also holds both a South Carolina Real Estate license and a Brokerage license.
Doug' s background prior to real estate is in sales, contract negotiations, and operational management. Having worked for several Fortune 500 companies. Doug has found that hard work and continued education are key components to continuous development as a professional. He attended Midlands Technical College, the University of Wales, the Disney Institute, the American Management Association and Qualpro Quality Process Control/Statistical Process Control training.
After years of success in the corporate world, Doug dreamed of one day using his skills to embark on a successful real estate career. In 2004, that dream became a reality. Doug proved to be a top producer early in his real estate career earning the "Rising Star Award" his first year. He has continued to build his success through serving his clients and thus gaining loyalty from his many satisfied clients along with their valued referral business.

Active in his church and the community, Doug is passionate about helping others and identifying innovative ways to improve the lives of struggling families in difficult situations the world over. In fact, in 2010 after a mission trip to Cap Haitian, Haiti, Doug became involved with creating a new venture to assist the Haitian people in their desire to become independent providers for their families. The resulting collaboration was the creation of PERL1 Haiti. PERL1 Haiti, located in Cap Haitian was the first Haitian owned company to process recycled plastic on the island.
