As the leader and owner of the Harden Group, Doug's experience and expertise in the many disciplines of real estate ensure that his clients are in good hands. Here are some highlights of Doug's real estate experience: He has recently sold many homes over list price, some as high as 10% or more; one home sold for $675,000, which was $25,000 over the asking price, in three days with five offers after previously being listed with another agent, and this was nearly three years ago; another home listed at $525,000 sold for over $50,000 over the asking price with 30 plus offers within 48 hours. Doug has assisted in walking a client through a custom home build worth over $1.5 million in the Milton/Alpharetta area. His fastest-selling home sold in 12 hours with multiple offers. He also sold a home for a $1.2 million cash offer that closed before due diligence was up. Additionally, Doug and his team have been in the top 2% of all agents in Metro Atlanta, selling nearly $30 million in volume over the past three years. Why choose Doug? Doug has an MBA in Finance and Management from Mercer University, is a former CFO, has seven years of lending and three years of mortgage experience, and is a former Division 1 athlete. Doug was born in Jacksonville, Florida where his family lived until his father, who worked for Winn-Dixie, was transferred to Louisville, Kentucky. He completed middle school and high school there and learned to play basketball, appreciate horse racing and enjoy bourbon when he got older. Doug is a third-generation University of Florida Alumnus, where he graduated with a major in finance and a minor in economics. One of his grandfathers, who was a POW in the Battle of the Bulge, graduated with an accounting degree after WWII. Doug was a walk-on for the Gator baseball team, where he played with several guys who eventually made it to the big leagues such as David Ross, David Eckstein, Brad Wilkerson, Mark Ellis, Josh Fogg, and others. Doug is also a member of North Point Community Church, coached travel baseball for 12 years, and is now a volunteer baseball/softball coach for his kids' teams. He and his family have also volunteered and supported Lighthouse Family Retreat, which helps families living through childhood cancer. He is a hard-working, top-dollar real estate agent who enjoys helping his clients achieve their ultimate goals.
