Donnie’s real estate career began in 1997. He went on to form Alameda Property Group, where he spent the next 15 years focusing on large master planned, mixed-use developments. Donnie has designed, coordinated financing for, developed, and brokered commercial subdivisions, residential subdivisions, multifamily subdivisions, and business parks. A partial list of tenants that Donnie has placed include: Walmart Stores Inc., MountainView Regional Medical Center, Walgreens, Rehabilitation Hospital of SNM, Acute Care Hospital of SNM, Murphy Oil, Tuesday Morning, McAlister’s Deli, Buffalo Wild Wings, Firehouse Subs, Rio Grande Medical Group, Bank of the Rio Grande and US Oncology. Previous to his entrance into real estate, Donnie worked in the television industry. During his tenure, he created the five-time Emmy winning show “Win Ben Stein’s Money”. Donnie proudly served in the United States Navy onboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger CV-61. He was deployed numerous times throughout the Western Pacific. His military awards and recognitions include the 2010 Cold War - Certificate of Recognition, 1989 Humanitarian Service Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Battle “E” Award, NAVY Letter of Appreciation and Battle “E” Pacific Ribbon. Donnie is a 5th generation native of New Mexico, his family roots date back to the late 1800’s. His great-great grandfather, John Wilson, was the very first US Attorney in New Mexico following statehood. Donnie’s great-great grandfather, Dr. P.G. Cornish Sr. was one of the founding members of Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. Donnie’s great-great grandmother, Cora Wilson, was a founder of the Albuquerque Symphony. And Donnie’s great grandfather, William Anton Rank was an original investor and partner with Conrad Hilton in Hilton Hotels. Donnie is active in both the Cerebral Palsy and Autism communities, spends most of his free time with his children.
