Don Sutton is known as the Professor of Real Estate and is a Real Estate Wealth Advisor for 20+ Years, Professor and Coach. He is the current Broker Associate / Real Estate Trainer and Coach at Sync Brokerage located in several Luxury Markets in USA, specializing in Luxury / Residential Income. Mr. Sutton is also an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at California State University Los Angeles CSULA and University of California Los Angeles UCLA.
Mr. Sutton has been teaching real estate courses both privately and publicly for 15+ years. Previously he served as served as Director of Real Estate Training & Education, at Nationwide Real Estate Executives. His success course in real estate for real estate professionals is highly regarded as one of the most successful in the Southern California area with an emphasis towards serving minority and first time buyers. Don has trained over 1,000 students to pass the state real estate exam and trained over 300+ agents to be successful entrepreneurs from day one.
Mr. Sutton travels throughout the USA speaking on real estate investing, purchasing property, coaching agents, and discussing careers in real estate at private events, conventions and conferences held by national organizations.
Don earns a six figure income – mainly through networking with business organizations, fraternal organizations, non-profits and personal friends in both residential and commercial properties. A 20+ year veteran of the real estate industry, Mr. Sutton has won multiple awards for sales performance and excellent client service from San Diego to Santa Barbara earning over $1,000,000 in gross closed commissions. The Latino and Hispanic communities make up 60% of his real estate business.
Prior to real estate, Mr. Sutton spent 10+ years in the global logistics industry, 5 years in the computer OEM industry based in Taipei, Taiwan, and has traveled to, or lived in 18 countries -speaking at 70% in Spanish proficiency and 20% in Mandarin.
He is a graduate of the Masters Program in Real Estate Offered by NAR in Conjunction with Columbia, has a Bachelors Degree from California State University Dominguez Hills, where he was active in several organizations, and a transferee from Long Beach City College where he earned the highest commendation, The Viking, for outstanding community service, grade point average and service to the campus community. He attended the University of Guadalajara, where he completed certificates in Spanish language.
Mr. Sutton volunteers with the English Encounters for the Misioneros Catolicos Program with the Catholic Diocese of LA, the former President with the Los Angeles Chapter of Prospanica, (formerly known as NSHMBA) for 2013-18, a continuation of his dedication to Latino and Hispanic business student organizations. He is also the former President of the Rancho Dominguez Alumni Association for the 2015-18 term serving as a volunteer for the Sigma Pi Fraternity Chapter. He also served as President of United Latino Students in 2010, the premier undergraduate business organization for Latino and Hispanic students at the 14 universities in Southern California - and is the organizations Alumni Advisor.
Mr. Sutton mentors DREAM Act students, and has held major positions in several Latino business student organizations, and maintains relationships with: United Latino Students ULS, National Hispanic Business Association NHBA, Sigma Pi Fraternity International, Men of Aztlan Fraternal Order, and other Alumni associations.
