Don Albright previously served as a Principal at Avison Young and as the director for the Capital Markets Group, where he leads sales and investment activity and assisted in strategic planning and client relationship management. Don has more than 39 years of commercial real estate experience and has a broad base of contacts ranging from local, private capital to institutional investors. His extensive knowledge of capital markets and institutional transactions provides a basis for advisory and assignments in all investment property types. Before joining Avison Young, Don was the Director for the Capital Markets Group in Cushman & Wakefield, where he led his team to execute $500 million in transaction volume consisting of over 10 million square feet from 2012 to 2015. Don was formerly President of Covenant Realty Advisors, LLC, and worked with CB Richard Ellis as a Senior Vice President of Investment Properties. During his tenure at CB Richard Ellis, Don sold investment properties totaling 16.9 million square feet, exceeding $1.3 billion in value from 2003 to 2007 and was top 5 annual producer in 2003. In 2007 alone, Don participated in over $300 million of sales and leasing activity totaling more than 3.6 million square feet of office, industrial and land transactions. Don was named the 2004 NAIOP “Broker of the Year” and received the NAIOP “Sale of the Year” investment award four years in a row from 2003 – 2006 in addition to 2012 and 2013.
