Derrick is personally committed to his client’s success! What that means is he takes pride in knowing that through his efforts the best results possible have been achieved for his clients, whether working with a first-time investor purchasing a new asset, adding to an existing portfolio, or marketing an asset for sale. He has 20 years of knowledge, experience and expertise in the field, provides the most personalized service, and creates comprehensive market evaluations and analyses for his clients. Derrick strives to develop and maintain lasting relationships with all of his clients. And the interests of his clients are his highest priority. And understanding and committing to the clients personal goals and objectives keeps those relationships ongoing.
Since joining the ranks of real estate brokerage as a multifamily specialist in 2001, Derrick has persevered through several cycles of economic downturns, and come out of each of these more educated and better equipped with new ideas for any situation that may arise for his investors in the market. Personally, he has had ownership in 12 properties and 847 units over the years that provides a unique perspective that many real estate brokers do not have. He understands the value of an investor’s hard-earned money and treats his investors’ funds as if they are his own. He practices what he preaches!
Derrick’s focus is on B and C-Class assets in the Texas market. With over 120 closed transactions and millions of dollars in assets sold, he has been a witness to virtually every kind of transaction, and knows how to handle any of those situations for the best possible outcome.
Over the years, Derrick has cultivated an extensive private direct client database from which to draw investors seeking almost any type of multifamily asset. This private client group always get the first look at new listings, and receives important announcements and the latest market information just as it occurs. A client can be assured of the highest and broadest coverage of qualified investors and brokers to maximize net proceeds for their marketed assets.
As an exclusive representative of his client, Derrick can focus his full attention to marketing the asset in the client’s best interest. Through his extensive private client database and a broad network of brokers from which to draw from around the country, maximum coverage is achieved in order to obtain the highest net proceeds possible for the client.
Derrick gains a thorough understanding of each investor and their goals through personal contact and attention to each investor.
