Derek Kinnear co-founded Charles Hart Real Estate and has been in and around the real estate industry for over 20 years. His experience and expertise include property construction, multifamily investments and buyer and seller representation. Over the years, he has consulted clients on thousands of multifamily units and has built a substantial portfolio of residential, retail, special purpose, and multifamily property.
He attended The Ohio State University where he received a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures. While at OSU, he was a four-year letter winner for The Ohio State Baseball team and was elected team captain by his teammates his senior year. He also earned awards such as all Big Ten, Big Ten Player of the Week and was on the watch list for the Johnny Bench Award.
Derek is an active member of The Buckeye Club, The Buckeye Diamond Club, Varsity O, The Ohio State Alumni Association, Scioto Country Club, Pinnacle Golf Club, Search Columbus, and Rock City Church.
Derek resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio with his wife and two daughters.
