Derek joined GlenLine in 2020 and is responsible for investing activities and business development. Prior to joining GlenLine, Derek spent 3 years at Goldman Sachs on the Merchant Banking Division – Real Estate team with a primary focus on office, industrial and covered land investments across the Sun Belt region. In that role, he participated in 14 successful acquisitions valued in excess of $1.8bn. Derek is a graduate of Princeton University, and he spent 4 years in the US Army as an infantry officer prior to starting his career in commercial real estate. He is also an accredited member of the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Urban Land Institute.
