Having grown up in Sinclair, Wyoming and on a ranch north of Steamboat Springs, Dennis Carruth has called Colorado home for decades. The founder and president of Carruth Company, he launched his real estate career in 1973, when he joined a company that partnered with Johns Manville to develop Ken-Caryl Ranch; the Elkhorn master planned community in Sun Valley, Idaho and a project in New Jersey called the Hills. Ever since, he has been a leader in the development of Ken-Caryl Ranch and Ken-Caryl Business Center and a recognized small business leader on the Front Range.
