The majority of Dean's 47 year business career has been in the field of advertising. Thirty-six of those years, Dean worked as a sales representative, including 26 years as president and majority owner of Leslie Advertising. He sold his stock to partners over a period of 1998-2003. Starting in 1998, Dean purchased 103 acres of mountain property known as Hidden Hills of Glassy Mtn., a gated community of 18 five-acre lots or larger, developed it, and is now selling the property with his two sons. Dean joined the Prudential C. Dan Joyner family as a sales representative in 2003.
