Dax Gitcho is the Managing Partner Asset Management for Southpeak Group and has been with the company since November 2020.
Dax previously worked with NAI Shames Makovsky focusing on tenant representation and investor buyer services primarily in the Central Denver market. Dax brings a broad and diverse understanding of commercial real estate with his experience in brokerage, acquisitions, development, asset management, bankruptcy workouts and loan underwriting.
Prior to joining NAI Shames Makovsky, Dax worked at Fleisher Smyth Brokaw were he managed the company’s acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence efforts and was involved in every aspect of the real estate process. He also worked at Marcus & Millichap’s Special Assets Group where he managed Chapter 11 & 7 bankruptcy workouts of companies and properties, filing plans of reorganization, financial modeling, and the analysis of their real estate investment properties. He specialized in a 363 asset sale transaction code of bankruptcy and was published in Bloomberg during the 2008 liquidity crisis. Dax also has experience as an Analyst and Underwriter with Johnson Capital’s Federal Housing Administration where he underwrote multifamily, health care, and construction loans.
